Prescribed Occupations

A prescribed occupation is a job that requires a qualification or certificate to be issued to the worker before they are able to partake in that job. For example, a crane or hoist operator will be required to undertake training and practical experience to be certified as a nationally recognised operator before they can commence employment in that career.
