Definition:
Prevocational courses are undertaken by students who wish to gain an understanding of the industry and qualification or job they wish to take on. They undertake the basic tasks and duties involved in the job and gain practical experiences in a training environment, to enable them to make an informed decision about their careers, whilst also giving them an entry-level qualification to commence their career.
